Air Art

Students used water colors and air to create art. The activity reinforced the states of matter and allowed the kids to show off their creativity!

Solid or Liquid?!?

After reading Bartholomew and the Oobleck by Dr. Seuss, we had to check Ooblec out for ourselves! The kids were investigating whether the mixture was a solid, liquid or both...?!?

How important is your thumb?

Today, students tried to accomplish simple tasks without the use of their thumb!

How many bones are there in the human body?

If we were to take a walk on the Moon..

In class, we measured our Earth step and multiplied that number by 5 to figure out what our normal step would look like on the Moon. We marked our Earth and Moon step side by side with chalk and our results were very interesting!!

Shadows

Today we traced our shadows around 11:45 and again at 3:15.  Ask your child what happened to their shadows when they returned to them in the afternoon!

Students worked in small groups to put the phases of the moon in order!
