Convection Currents

Fifth grade students finished their unit on weather.  Their last experiment was on convection currents. They explored with warm and cold water. After observing, they noticed that warm water is less dense and floats while cold water is more dense and sinks.

Craters!

Third grade students have been studying objects in the sky and conducted an experiment on craters. They tested to see if height of the object dropped or the mass of an object created the biggest craters.
